Expectations at Work: The Foundation for Success

 

Expectations play a critical role in job satisfaction, engagement and feeling valued. However, nearly half of workers report that they do not know what is expected of them (Gallup, 2016). In absence of clear expectations, employees are forced to create their own which can lead to frustration, confusion and overwhelm.

Dr. Agnes Wainman has worked with clients from almost every sector; education, healthcare, finance, manufacturing, legal and government and has seen the impact that Expectation Discrepancy Syndrome can have in the workplace.
